About Island Media Studios
Island Media Studios was purpose built to meet the demand for high quality, flexible, reasonably priced film production facilities. Now part of Mountain View Innovation Centre, the studio facilities are set in 25 acres of private land with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside, making it ideal for both studio filming and as a base for location shoots.
Sound Stage
The purpose-built sound stage, with over 11,000 square feet of space, is linked to and complemented by Babbage’s, which has all the facilities necessary for the comfort of your cast and crew. These include but are not limited to Babbage’s Bistro, recreational facilities such as pool & table tennis, and fitness facilities. Office space can also be arranged upon request, where available.
- 750 KVA supplied to 3 distribution panels with a 9 x 63 amp and 18 x 125 amp outlets.
- Drive in access via a 40’ electric door, 9 double doors and 1 single personnel door.
- Smoothed concrete floor.
- Mains sprinkler system is installed at roof level.
