Mountain View Innovation Centre – Website Privacy Notice
Who are we?
Mountain View Innovation Centre is all about nurturing innovation and sharing physical space with fellow businesses, by providing a creative environment in which to turn good ideas into successful enterprises in a stimulating, supportive environment.
We’re also all about Community – the Community of the people who work here, but also the community in which we live – so our facilities are equally available to churches, charities and community groups.
Whether you’re a small start-up business, need more space for growth, need a suite of offices in which to flourish – or just want to hold your meeting or event at Mountain View, we provide the facilities for this to happen
We promise to respect any personal data you share with us, or that we obtain from other organisations and keep it safe. In accordance with Data Protection legislation, most especially the new General Data Protection Regulations, we aim to be transparent about the personal data we hold about you, why we hold it and what we do with it.
Where do we collect information about you from?
We may collect information from you personally from correspondence that you send to us, during telephone conversations, from entries you make on our website, or from face-to-face contact at events that you attend.
Why do we collect information about you?
We collect this information from you to create and maintain an accurate record of our contact with you, record information about your requirements and to provide details of products and services we may supply, and record of any financial transactions between us.
How can you find out what data we hold about you?
You may request a copy of the information we hold about you by completing a Subject Access Request Form and submitting it to our Data Protection Officer. To protect you from frivolous or malicious access to your data, our Data Protection Officer must be satisfied with your identity credentials before processing your request.
We aim to respond to your request within one month. If there are reasons why this is likely to take any longer than this, we will notify you and explain the circumstances.
Will we share personal data about you?
As a general rule, we don’t share your personal data with others. Any exception might be sub-contractors who carry out printing and packing for our newsletters – but the contractors are under strict data-protection obligations and may only access your data in order to carry out this printing and packing.
